Christbridge community service honored in newspaper

Our school-wide learner outcomes include three areas of growth: Spirit, Scholarship, and Serving. An outcome of being involved at CBA is that students will grow in their experience of the Love of God and then be able to share God’s love with others through serving, often times in the community. Joe Rocha, the mayor of Azusa, has regularly included CBA students in various service projects across the city. Recently, fifteen students from CBA joined Mayor Joe and other schools in cleaning banners that honor Azusans serving in the armed forces across the world. Their picture was captured in the local newspaper, the San Gabriel Valley Examiner, as a part of joining “Azusa Beautiful” and honoring these soldiers.
